Not sure if I have to be logged in or not to see your links.
None the less Nox and I were in OL last night. Sakai had NOT deducted what we had owed for out region from credits as was told we could do, and thus requested LONG AGO before cancelling the region. Sooo figuring Sakai does not care about Money we sought out any users on OL. 4 lucky, or unlucky depending on how you look at it, OL users received a large amount of credits.
It is terribly obvious that Sakai does not care about paying his bills, so one has to ask, what is his business plan? Is OL just an elaboarate technological scam? Is it gross incompetence? Or is Sakai really that loaded that he does not care if 3DX gains a good reputation as a company let alone OL?
One does have to wonder... Or is OL becoming just one big elitist club. In which case there slogan should be, "Become a fan boy today! Or be harassed out of the grid tomorrow!".

Funny you should mention that Mortus... Nox was kind enough to point out to me that I had not done the invoicing last night for the Parcels, so I took care of that today, but I'm more or less needing to fix a very bad communication bug between our site and PayPal, because auto update for next renewal date is not working. That being said, then I can add Parcels in to the site and all will be well again and I can move to happier things errrr... well depending on how you look at it. Oddly enough, it all works GREAT in sandbox mode, but come to live mode and the whole thing goes whoosh and stops communicating. Anywho's, as for the reading... I didn't have time to read over all of it over my 2 cups of coffee, but I did enjoy being referred to as a "kindergarten grid". Btw, pretty sad you had to give away your Credits, due to yet another unfulfilled promise. Hopefully the ones who gained, appreciate the reasoning behind it.

Hmmmm... If InWorldz is the Kindergarden Grid, that makes SL the Kindergarden hold back (Failed to graduate to grade 1. LOL) and puts OSGrid and OL on the short bus with bibs, plenty of Cleanex and their "Special Needs" tutor.
P.S. I mean no disrespect for those or their family with special needs, learning disability (Of which I am diagnosed with Dysgraphia, not to be confused with Dyslexia however.) or any other form mental disability. References are all in good fun, so I apologise in advance to all offended by them.

So, question is (because Sicktard, I mean Sakai, specifically mentioned 73 bone skeleton so is that the sl skeleton (doubts this highly) or the Daz skeleton (placing bets). Anyone know for sure? And note to all regarding our money loss, I wrote it off long ago, expensive lesson learned, and whiile it is not at ALL likely that anyone's eyes were opened at receiving such "largesse", it least it WILL keep these people from buying up 70K woth of credits between them...then all the shopping they will hopefully do or the rents they will pay...Like printing credits myself and dumping them into his economy... But I'm not bitter....

Well I could be COMPLETELY offbase here, but as the sl avatar has no skeleton I've ever discerned, if it DID have a skeleton, you know the attachments to them, and they MOST definitely do NOT count up to 73. I have not perused the osforge as of late as I have way too much to do here at InWorldz.

You know it's great to add whizbang feature after whizbang feature, but I have a hard time believing a grid can be enjoyable with major issues in core services.

I think Sakai has decided to adopt Second Lifes development model not realizing that people stay with Second Life because it's the only grid that is 100% functional in terms of features despite continued core system stability issues. All it will take is a world like InWorldz to achieve the same functionality in terms of features and then get just far enough ahead for people to start taking notice and well, only time will tell if LL survives, but those using their business model won't.
In all honesty when InWorldz and others like it reach the ready for primetime stage Linden Lab will have to restructure or sell off Second Life and it's code to some one else as no one will want to continue to support a grid with frequent roaming core service failures and problems meeting the needs of it's users when they have a truely scalable and stable solution that is willing to evolve with technology unlike Second Life.
