This week I flew into Orlando to visit the University of Central Florida where the U.S. Army Simulation & Training Technology Center is running the Military Open Simulator Enterprise Strategy team to do some pretty awesome things with virtual worlds.
I'll be writing a longer blog post about what we all learned, but the short short version is that the team is highly impressed with the physics, scripting, stability, and scalability of the InWorldz Halcyon platform. We will be collaborating further to do some really amazing things that will have very positive impacts on all of InWorldz customers, as well as the training platforms MOSES is working on.
The time has come where we'll be reaching way outside the box to begin making major changes to the core InWorldz architecture to enable ever more massive scalability and performance, and now we have an even bigger team of developers to collaborate with.
What a great trip! More soon!
