Tried to logon on beta today.
On last location as well as home.
When logon screen comes to "loading world" the viewer does close on me.

Am I on the black list ?

:faint:

Beta looks good at the server end.

Did you successfully get logged in, in the end? I see a successful login. Then later a network timeout (although that may be a logoff that timed out). The end of the log on IB6 showed:
Quote:
05:31:04 - [SCENE VIEW]: Sending child agent update to update all child regions
about fully established user

05:31:15 - [Xfer]: Canceling transfer for Judy Dressler due to timeout

05:31:59 - [LLUDPSERVER]: Ack timeout, disconnecting 3e05a6e7-ff6a-4f2c-9449-4cf184d873dd
05:31:59 - [CLIENT]: Close has been called for Judy Dressler attached to scene InWorldz Beta 6. Sending DisableSimulator.
The User login server later shows:
Quote:
05:32:17 - [LOGIN BEGIN]: XMLRPC Received login request message from user 'Judy' 'Dressler'
05:32:17 - [LOGIN]: XMLRPC Client is Cool VL Viewer 1.26.8.18, start location is home
05:32:17 - [LOGIN]: Telling InWorldz Beta Island @ 1000,1000 (http://166.78.66.1:9500) to prepare for client connection
05:32:17 - [LOGIN]: Found appearance for Judy Dressler
05:32:17 - [UserManager]: CheckAuthSession TRUE for user 3e05a6e7-ff6a-4f2c-9449-4cf184d873dd
05:32:18 - [MSGCONNECTOR]: Sending login notice to registered message servers
05:32:18 - [LOGIN END]: XMLRPC Authentication of user Judy Dressler successful. Sending response to client.
Might want to try it with an IW viewer or Firestorm just to see if that is different than Cool (which is a bit of a weird combination of v1/v2/v3 viewers and may be confusing some aspect of the IW server code). Just to see if it makes a difference. Did you see the same "loading" state both logging in to IB6 (or is it IB5) and again on IBI? Home is probably taking you to IBI.

For what it's worth, I just logged in to IB6 with IW2 viewer with no problems. I'll try Cool if I get a chance in a little while. (Fresh machine install, no Cool installed yet.)

ok Jim,

My Win 7 PC frooze a bit after I read your reply
Guess you scared it cause this is rare.

Reset - Restarted in safe mode with network ok. Restarted in normal.

Fired IW Viewer Beta.
Logon home on beta.
No issue.
Moved a bit in same region and did set a new home spot.
Went to IB6 to delete a heli in test I could not delete yesterday.

Fired Cool VL
Logon home on Beta
No issue
Checked my invent
Heli was in trash ok.

So it was on my side and temp. I noted many network issues this morning my side. Now ok. So could be related.

Btw I also solved the fact I had old planes with no scripts in my Beta invent.
Found out I could transfer between main grid and beta with SI as well as I do between SL and IW main. So now I will test helis in beta also. Yeeaaah !

TY
:frogger:

Yes, that ACK timeout is usually a sign of a network problem. Oh might want to look at bandwidth setting in the Cool viewer. Make sure it's not too low (under 500) as I've seen similar problems with it under 300. And not too high. The ACK timeout is also possible if a logout isn't a clean termination and the connection times out, so I wasn't sure if it was significant or not.

That's great. And you can also use IW 1.5 export/import to just get the prims (minus any scripts) from the main grid inventory.

Jim,

My bandwith is at 750K
And this is the first time I had a problem.
I suspect more my ISP to have played around with one of his servers and that it did hit me in middle of logins.

I use Second Inventory for transfers between grid and PC or grid to grid since 2011 in Avination ( oups! that was a bad move at time ). Very happy with it.
Speaking of prims and sculpties of course.

For mesh I will use my Cool VL viewer.
In fact already did.

TY again.
