But you can make it rotate side to side and up and down by clicking and dragging the mouse on it, and zoom in and out with the scroll wheel.

I think what you're missing is that this isn't a video. It's rendering something that is currently in Tranq's InWorldz user inventory.

You'll be able to select items in your inventory and choose Share and that will share it with other people in the world, who are using only browsers, no viewers.

You'll be able to say, "hey sis, I know you're not too interested in virtual worlds, but click this link and I'll show you something I built in InWorldz."

Dreamshare allows other people -- non-users of InWorldz -- to "rez" your object in a browser.

And that's for those who no nothing about virtual worlds. Imagine what this will do for thos who do! Think about sculpty/mesh creators selling their objects in-world who can now allow you to preview them on the web. Or think of catalogs with objects.

I think the reason the concept is a bit hard to grasp at first is that no other grid has done anything even close to this. It's a new concept.

I think this is wonderful , I am not a builder but if I was I could show my brother in Virginia my dream home that I built. He then would say, Hey sis can I make some money doing that if I join.....lol. He really would say that to me.....

And unlike a video, the person can grab the object with their mouse to zoom in or out and rotate it as they wish. So it's an interactive window, not just a piece of film.

There are limits and guidelines that I will go over. I'd like to open another discussion thread to discuss that and other questions by Wednesday.

I plan to add objects on my sites.

What would be nice is that we can embed the display on any Internet page, using an iframe. But in this case, surrounding items must be reduced to a minimum, for presentation reasons. This can be done if we can link toward a specific page, optimized for appearing in an iframe.

if I have an iframe on my site, the iframe makes a hit on the dreamshare site, enhancing its stats, while people don't necessarily follow a link. So it is a win-win situation.
