The subject says it all. We've reached a point with just under 1/4 of the grid on the physics release that we're satisfied the release is production ready and are now at a stage where it can be rolled to the rest of the grid.
There is at least one incompatible change in the release involving llRot2Axis. This is to fix a misbehavior of an inworldz calculation that can affect the directionality of the calculated Axis. See here:
viewtopic.php?p=113391#p113391 for more information.
Also a number of problems where NaNs could creep up into rotational calculations has been fixed. If you made scripts that worked around the NaNs they may need to be adjusted.
Tonight I will begin rolling the release to the grid. It has the version number "InWorldz PhysX 0.8.0 R276X" (X is 1 or 3). Note that in the future the PhysX portion of the version number will be dropped and should not be relied upon to indicate a physics compatible release.
After this rollout we will continue to implement any remaining functionality as well as the lsl vehicle functions. Balpien Hammerer is almost ready with his land/sea/air vehicle script for vehicle makers and I (or he) will post instructions here on how to obtain it for free.
Thank you for being part of InWorldz in 2013!
