Should be a simple rename. Only thing that might not be simple is how many times Opensim Library is called..

Holy Guacamole...!!!
Each time I try to upload my own created textures from SI (on a Test island) I am immediately logged off. This last bump-out absolutely cracked me up...!!! It was a folder with only 4 textures highlighted for bulk.....and all kinds of weird machine noises...popping and ticking...and POOF...!!! I was immediately logged off.....

Seriously, SI is NOT your best route for texture uploading. I highly recommend using the normal viewer to upload your textures. We are looking at the SI thing and are setting some things in motion to work on this, but will be a while yet.

Hi team

I havent really used the new viewer much since it was released, but each time I log on I find I am frozen, completely unable to move, so i then relog & I normally wait around 10mins after the intitial log in that logs out my avie coz otherwise I just dont get back in hehe

Once back in though I seem to be ok, but, grrrsss must remember to save my work as i go, otherwise i find myself logged out, come back & all my work has poofed! :beatcomp:

ok Moan over :P

btw still unable to save prim attachments when you make up an outfit in appearance.... no rush, i have a work around... hmmm maybe I should report this one in Mantris??

:puppybone:

Rosa,

I think this has more to do with the grid stability issues we are experiencing than the viewer.

This goes for everyone. If you are having a particular issue that you think is viewer related, please post the issue either here in the forums, or on the Mantis. You can also try using the Hippo viewer or can also connect using the loginuri command and the Second Life viewer.

I probably won't be back into actual coding of the Inworldz Viewer until next week sometime. I'm trying to get something built in Hell.

I too am having the issue of prims disappearing after the grid restarts. Very Frustrating. Hopefully as Ele has stated in another post this fix in 3 parts will help this.

This is more amusing than serious. Apparently the viewer does not update particles while the window is minimized and tries to keep real time by taking bigger steps after longer pauses. So when the window is restored it takes a giant step that ignores things like gravity.

I've got a few bugs elenia, been saving'em up for ya,lol. Mind you, you're probably working on a few of'em already, sorry for the headache.

1, I keep getting the newbie drop down tabs everytime i touch something, how do you stop'em?

2, Made some sunnies/shades, attached'em to my chin cos they wouldn't attach to my nose, however, everytime I log in they attach to my chin, even though I've attached and unattached several times.

3, I'm presuming there's been a few restarts lately as my shower has been going when I log on. This aint a big problem as I just reset it, but could be down track. Doesn't happen every day.

4, After the presumed restarts the notecard in my clocks don't work, thus rendering the chimes and bells inoperable. I have to reset the notecard and the script because the script reads from notecard.

5, Last location and even home are not saving after logging on.

There's a few others but will post them after you've taken the panadol for ya headache elenia, lol.

oh yeah, number 6,

After my clocks chime and bong, when I touch an item, edit, go to upload texture and several other similar instances the last chime or bong actually bongs again. Happens a few times for about 5 or 10 minutes, but can still happen after half an hour or so.

This also happened in OL, until an umpteenth upgrade came along and eventually fixed it, only to replace it with the clock stopping after a couple of hours.

1. Blame Legion, mine has been doing same thing ever since 1.0.0.8 release.

2. Set shades in place on the chin attachment, Detach shades, go to Inventory, find shades, right click "copy", then right click "paste", wear those shades.

3. No restarts actually have been done on Cactus Flats since Monday... I was stress testing some regions. I will do a restart here in a few minutes and should fix your issues.

4. See #3

5. This is new, and I will check with Legion, although I've not had any issues with it, and I bounced between both yesterday several time, but we'll take a look at it. Did you start off using 1.0.0.8? Or did you upgrade from 1.0.0.6?

6. How about we just keep it working for now then rather than breaking the whole thing? :)
