You don't really need
to contact them all individually unless it's very easy for you. If you have a store group, what I'd do is just post a notice. It could say that if anyone has trouble with sit positions, they should either reset the object, or rez a new copy from inventory. And if they cannot resolve it themselves, to contact you and you can send them a fresh copy (or exchange a nonfunctional one if it's no-copy).
