Exactly. You can send out an updated working version today and then take a year (?) to send out the real version which may be even better. Who knows? Maybe the ol commands would never expire.
That's not a solution; that's the problem Kayaker and I have been trying to figure out a solution for. That solution you propose above still requires all creators send out new updated versions for all their products. How is that an improvement? In Kayaker's solution, there is no more updates a year from now or whatever, this is the real version now today. But that's the problem we're trying to avoid, it requires sending out updates. Unfortunately we don't think that can be avoided, it was just a bug in his script that attempted to be forward-compatible, that was revealed by the update to not be so, at least in terms of the data stored not being compatible.
His update makes the data compatible, avoiding the need to reposition everything again, but it does require an updated script to be used in all the products.
